I love me some Korean Pop these days! The choreography and performance of Lupin have come so far from the days it debuted in early 2010 – especially the new dance breaks…very early-millenium-J Lo-vibed. My favorites in the group are Seung-yeon and Nicole. This performance at the Dream Concert is the business.com!
1. Joni Mitchell – Help Me

Every time I listen to Joni, I have a “a-ha” moment where everything makes sense and I understand why modern day singer/songwriters are the way that they are. Joni Mitchell and Carole King are the blueprint for the female singer/songwriter. They were and still are that good. I believe that the “Court & Spark” album needs to be in every music library known to man.
2. Joel Grey – Sentimental Man

“So Elphaba i’d like to raise you high,
Cause I think everyone deserves the chance to fly,
And helping you with your ascent allows me to feel so parental”
The funny this about this whole situation is that I have never seen Wicked on stage but I know every lyrics, song and lick from all the songs from this beloved musical. I am part Elphaba, part Glinda and part Wizard. This song is from a touching moment in the musical.
3. KARA – Lupin

I am slowly but surely moving over to the K-Pop side of life. I actually don’t really understand what they are saying but I get the general vibe. The Korean pop stars take the craft of being pop stars so seriously and I love it. They sing and dance like their lives depend on it with minor missteps. They are the realest deal. I love KARA…they’re sexy and have so much sass..watch them give it here in on of their awesome performances.
