Lord help me! This song is just too magical. I’m quite the emotional person (it doesn’t really show on the outside, lol) and this song just sent me into a deep emotional space. The song is about being lost, needing guidance and praying that God hears your plea for help. Ms Jill Scott sings with such visceral vulnerability that you can’t help but be moved and fall into that space of needing some kind of guiding light. I didn’t really pay much attention to the release of her “Light of The Sun” EP so thank you to Tsakarny, for introducing me to this gem.
